The Utsunomiya Gyoza Association will hold the “Utsunomiya Gyoza Festival 2023” at Utsunomiya Joshi Park (outside 1-3520 Honmaru-cho, Utsunomiya City, Tochigi Prefecture) from November 3 to 5. To commemorate the opening of the Utsunomiya Light Rail (Light Line) and other events, the festival will last three days, one day longer than in previous years.
Under the title of “Utsunomiya Gyoza Fan Appreciation Festival,” a total of 24 stores (20 stores only on November 3) will sell gyoza for 200 yen per plate. Purchasers will receive a “gyoza card” that varies from store to store, and the first 100 people to collect the cards from all 24 stores will receive an exchange ticket for a one-day ticket on the Light Line.
Stage events by comedians and artists such as Ujiken are scheduled to be held at the venue.
