JR Tokai will end the in-train wagon sales on all “Nozomi” and “Hikari” trains of the Tokaido Shinkansen on October 31.
From November 1, “Shinkansen Ice Cream” will be available from vending machines that are being installed sequentially at Shinkansen station platforms. Shinkansen Coffee” is already available at some stations where vending machines have been installed. In addition, only Green Cars will switch to the mobile ordering system for in-train vending.
