Marriott International and dhp urban development will open a Luxury Collection Hotel on the west side of Tottori Sand Dunes in 2026.
It will be the sixth “Luxury Collection Hotel” in Japan. It will consist of two independent low-rise, four-story wings, offering a total of 108 guest rooms, including suites. Plans call for some rooms to have open-air baths, and the food and beverage facilities will include an all-day casual all-day restaurant with semi-open kitchen with live cooking stations, and a signature restaurant.
Tottori Sand Dunes are within walking distance, and nearby are Tottori Sand Dunes Children’s Country, a recreational facility with parks, gardens, and children’s playgrounds, and Tottori Golf Club. It is also a 20-minute drive to Tottori Station and Tottori Airport.
