Hattendo has begun selling “Furusato Creamy Buns” at the Hattendo online store to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the company’s founding.
The regional cream buns will be developed starting with “Melted Tokyo Cream Pan Banana” to be released in December 2022. The online store will offer a 9-flavor, 12-piece assortment (4,980 yen, frozen, shipping included) and a 3-flavor, 3-piece assortment (1,134 yen, frozen, shipping not included) that incorporate local ingredients from various regions of Japan, such as cheese cake from Hokkaido, Kakegawa tea from Shizuoka, and Ogura milk from Nagoya. It will also be on sale at the 10th floor event hall of JR Nagoya Takashimaya (1-1-4 Meieki, Nakamura-ku, Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture) from October 18 to 24.
