Tsugaru Kaikyo Ferry started service on October 2 on the Muroran-Aomori route, connecting Muroran Port and Aomori Port (about 204 km) in about 7 hours.
The vessel used is the Blue Mermaid, with a capacity of 583 passengers. The vessel will operate one round trip per day as follows (except Sundays from Muroran and Mondays from Aomori).
