NTT DOCOMO will add countries and regions where ahamo subscribers can access overseas data communications without additional charges on October 10, 2012 at 10:00 a.m.. As a result, the number of countries/regions supported by ahamo subscribers will increase from 82 to 91.
The nine new countries and regions to be added are the United Arab Emirates, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Iceland, Ukraine, Georgia, Slovenia, Nigeria, and Ghana.
After the expansion, area coverage of Japanese destinations will be approximately 98%.
