JR Kyushu Group will launch a “Same-Day Hotel Delivery Service” at Hakata Station on September 14. This service is designed to deliver baggage checked at departure stations to hotels and inns by around 6:00 p.m. on the same day, and will first be offered on a trial basis to passengers traveling from Hakata Station to Yufuin and Beppu in Oita Prefecture.
The company says that this service will help ease congestion on the Yufuin-no Mori limited express train, and is recommended for people who want to enjoy light train travel and sightseeing in the city.
