NAVITIME “Gasoline Price Trace Search” to find the cheapest gas stations near your driving route

NAVITIME Japan has launched the “Gasoline Price Trace Search” function in its “NAVITIME Drive Supporter” car navigation application.

By tracing your finger over any area on the map, you can search for gas stations located within the specified area in order of lowest gasoline price in the last two weeks. The displayed gas stations can be set as destinations or transit points. For example, if you search in the direction of travel to your destination, you can compare prices at gas stations along the route you are about to travel.

The app also provides a “gasoline price map” function that visualizes gasoline prices at gas stations displayed on a map as high/low compared to the national gasoline average using icons, and a search function that allows users to sort and compare gas stations in the vicinity in order of cheapest to cheapest.
