MHI Signs Yen Loan Agreement for the Philippines: Contributing to Enhanced Natural Disaster Preparedness and Rapid Post-Disaster Recovery | News & Media

The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) signed a Loan Agreement (L/A) with the Government of the Republic of the Philippines on August 28, 2012, for up to 30 billion yen under the “Stand-By Disaster Recovery Loan (Phase 3)”.

This project will contribute to the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) Goal 9 (Create the basis for industrial and technological innovation), 11 (Create livable cities), and 13 (Take concrete measures against climate change) by supporting the promotion of disaster reduction policies in the country through a loan agreement in advance.
