On August 3, Kansai Airport announced the opening of 27 new stores in the international departure area of Kansai International Airport Terminal 1.
The international departure area of KIX 1 Tami is currently under renovation, and will include a walk-through duty free store as well as four types of Mood areas with different atmospheres, each with different designs and stores that match the atmosphere.
This new international departure area is scheduled to open in winter 2023.
