Yahoo! Maps now supports “Navigation on foot,” a tabbed function that holds multiple routes you’ve looked up. Facility search and rain cloud radar can also be checked.

Maps (Android version), which is provided by Yahoo! Maps, now supports the “tab function,” which displays locations and routes looked up on a map in multiple tabs without having to open a separate app or browser, in “Walking Navigation” as well.

With the “tab function,” places and routes researched on Yahoo! Tabs can be saved as a list of potential destinations for comparison, and since tabs are saved even after exiting the application, users can check the information they looked up the last time when they start up the application next time.

This makes it possible to open another tab while using “Walking Navigation” to search for nearby facilities or check rain cloud radar. It is also possible to add facilities researched in another tab as a transit point.
