Counter chair with “Hokutosei”, “Cassiopeia” and “Akebono” sleeper express head marks

Shine is selling counter chairs with headmark designs of the Hokutosei, Cassiopeia, and Akebono sleeper expresses on Makuake, a support purchase service.

The “Hokutosei” was a sleeper express connecting Ueno and Sapporo. It was changed to a temporary train before the start of the Hokkaido Shinkansen and later discontinued. The counter chair uses a white and yellow headmark design on a blue background for the seat. The design on the side is inspired by the train car.

The “Cassiopeia” was operated as a luxury sleeper express between Ueno and Sapporo. The counter chair will use the head mark on the seat, which features a large star reminiscent of the train’s name. The sides will be designed with a star design inspired by the train car.

Akebono” was a sleeper express that operated between Ueno and Aomori. The counter chair uses a head mark with the name in hiragana characters on the seat.
