On June 28, Virgin Australia Airlines commenced year-round direct flights from Haneda to Cairns, Australia, with one round-trip flight per day and same-day connections from Cairns to Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and other major Australian cities.
The company is currently holding a ticket sale from June 28 to midnight on July 4 to commemorate the launch of this new service. Tickets for flights from Haneda to Cairns are priced from 87,900 yen round-trip, and those for flights from Haneda to Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne are priced from 85,790 yen round-trip.
