Choshi Electric Railway will hold the Choshi Denki Matsuri (Choshi Denki Festival) on July 9 (10:00-16:00) at Inubo Station Square (Inubozaki, Choshi City, Chiba Prefecture) to commemorate the 100th anniversary of its opening.
In addition to numerous corporate booths featuring trains and gourmet foods, there will be stage performances by Chiba Prefecture’s mascot “Chibakun” and Chopi, the official mascot of Choshi City, as well as a mini Choshi-den ride for children to enjoy.
Also, on the day of the event, Choshi Dentetsu train rides will be free of charge.
