ZIPAIR Tokyo launched its Narita – San Francisco route on June 2. The aircraft is a Boeing 787-8 with a total of 290 seats, including 18 “ZIP Full-Flat” seats and 272 “Standard” seats.
The San Francisco route will be the third West Coast route for the company, which already operates the Narita-Los Angeles and San Jose routes, bringing the total number of weekly flights to 17 roundtrips.
Fares start at 89,500 yen for “ZIP Full-Flat Value,” 35,000 yen for “Standard Value,” and 10,000 yen for “U6 Standard Value,” a flat fare for passengers aged 6 and under.
