On May 31, the Tokyo Metropolitan Expressway Company released a time-lapse video showing the replacement of the old and new bridge girders of the Expressway Daishi Bridge, which is currently undergoing replacement work.
The video is about 1 minute long and shows the cutting and sliding of the existing bridge on the eve of the road closure, the cutting and sliding of the existing bridge on the first day of construction on May 27, and the sliding of the new bridge on May 29.
