Panasonic Cycle-Tech will sequentially release 10 models of electrically power assisted bicycles for summer 2023 starting June 1. The lineup includes three shopping model “ViVi” series, five sports & fashion models, and two business models. The new models are equipped with the Cal Power Drive unit, which is said to be 24% lighter (approx. 900g) than the model released in 2020. The new unit has improved the adjustment of the assist force when starting pedaling and the extension of speed in the mid-speed range, enabling a more comfortable ride.
