JR East Trading will release local Suica penguin goods in conjunction with the start of Suica ticket gate service in Aomori, Iwate, and Akita prefectures.
The first product lineup includes a card case, key holder, and W-ticket file, and will go on pre-sale at stores in each prefecture on May 27, with regular sales beginning July 1 at TRANIART stores and stores in the Tokyo metropolitan area.
Each of the goods is designed with famous local motifs: Tsugaru shamisen (Aomori Prefecture), Sansa Odori (Iwate Prefecture), and Namahage and hot springs (Akita Prefecture).
