The Shinshu Wine-Go-Round Executive Committee will hold “Shinshu Wine-Go-Round,” a tour of four wine events in the Chikumagawa Wine Valley East District of Nagano Prefecture, on May 27-28.
Of the Chikuma River Wine Valley that follows the flow of the Chikuma River from Higashishin to Hokushin, nine municipalities centering on Tomi City jointly make up the East District, which constitutes a wide-area wine special zone. A total of 23 small wineries are concentrated in this area.
Visitors can enjoy tasting, eating and drinking local foods, and shopping for local specialties at each site.
