Hiroshima Prefectural Police to regulate traffic on expressways and in the city in conjunction with the G7 Hiroshima Summit, May 18-22

The Hiroshima Prefectural Police, in cooperation with NEXCO West Japan Chugoku Branch and others, will implement road closures during the travel time of heads of state and government during the five-day period from May 18 to 22 in conjunction with the G7 Hiroshima Summit.

E2 Sanyo Expressway Hongo IC – Kuga IC

E74 Hiroshima Expressway, Hiroshima JCT to Hiroshima Saikaze-shinto IC

E31 Hiroshima-Kure Road, Niho JCT to Kure IC (all lines)

Hiroshima Expressway Lines 1-3 (all lines)

Kaita Bridge (all lines)

Grand Prince Hotel Hiroshima – Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park

During this period, traffic will be concentrated on detour routes, which may cause heavy congestion, and the organizers are urging people to refrain from using their own cars, adjust their business vehicles, and reschedule events.
