JR West has issued a warning that heavy rains have forced some sections of the Kinki area to suspend operations. All trains are expected to resume operations by midday.
As of 9:00 a.m. on May 8, operations are suspended between Kizu Station and Kyoto Station on the Nara Line, between Iga-Ueno Station and Kamo Station on the Kansai Line, between Kizu Station and Shijonawate Station on the Gakkentoshi Line, between Nishiwaki City Station and Tanikawa Station on the Kakogawa Line, and between Harima-Shingu Station and Kozuki Station on the Hime-Shin Line. Other lines are also experiencing widespread delays.
