Marriott International opened the Fairfield by Marriott Okayama Tsuyama hotel (647-3 Miyao, Okayama Prefecture) adjacent to a roadside station on April 11. This is the second hotel under this brand in Okayama Prefecture.
The hotel is located across the street from the roadside station “Kume no Sato” and is surrounded by tourist attractions such as Tsuyama Castle, which has been selected as one of the 100 best cherry blossom viewing spots in Japan, the castle town, and the garden Shurakuen. The hotel has 78 guest rooms, of which two types, “Standard Twin” and “Standard King,” are available.
