Ace re-releases suitcases made from re-purposed car bumpers in a limited edition of 150.

On April 7, Ace, in cooperation with Mazda, announced the resale of a limited quantity of “Proteka Maxpass RI” suitcases made from reused automobile bumpers.

The Maxpass RI model uses polypropylene resin, which is recycled using a technology that recycles used automobile bumpers, for the suitcase exterior and recycled polyester for the interior dividers and inner case. To support safety at night, it is also equipped with vibration-powered LED lights that have a low environmental impact.

The product was released in March 2022 and sold out, but will be re-released as the company is on track to collect the used bumpers. This time, the product will be sold in a limited edition of 150 pieces.

It has a capacity of 38 L, measures 50 x 40 x 25 cm, and weighs 3.5 kg.
