Chiba Prefecture has announced that it will extend its nationwide travel support “Chiba Tokubari Campaign” through June 30. After resuming at the beginning of the year, the campaign was set to run through March 31 (including check-out on April 1), but will continue until the budget limit is reached.
In addition to a flat 20% subsidy (up to 5,000 yen per night for travel products with transportation/up to 3,000 yen per night for other products), local coupons (2,000 yen per night on weekdays/1,000 yen per night on holidays) will continue to be given for the purchase of souvenirs and for eating and drinking.
