International Emergency Relief for Cyclone Damage in the Republic of Vanuatu

In response to a request from the government of the Republic of Vanuatu, Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) will provide emergency relief supplies as follows.

The cyclone that passed through the Republic of Vanuatu from March 1 to 4 has caused extensive human and material damage in the affected areas.

Damage as of March 6 (as announced by DG ECHO)

Approximately 251,346 people (about 80% of the population)
