Ekiben vending machine” appears in the Umekita area of Osaka Station. Ekiben from the Kansai region are now available in one machine.

JR West will install an “ekiben vending machine” at Osaka Station (Umekita area), which will open on March 18. One machine will be set up near the escalators at platform 21 and 22 inside the ticket gates to improve convenience for train passengers.

The vending machines are locker-type and will be delivered around 7:00 a.m. and sold until 10:00 p.m. It is planned to offer a variety of ekiben from the Kansai area, including “anagomeshi” (eel rice) from Hiroshima Prefecture, and the items sold will vary from day to day. Payment is cashless only, and transportation system IC cards and credit cards will be accepted at the time of opening.
