ETC Solutions will start cashless toll payment using the ETC multipurpose use service “ETCX” at the Matsushima Toll Road, Kumamoto Prefecture, from March 1, 2012 at 12:00 pm.
In addition, a “Battente Toku Wari” system will be available, which automatically applies discounts based on the number of times the ETCX is used. Advance application is required to use this system.
Please note that in order to use ETCX, you must be registered as a member based on your ETC card and credit card information, and you must stop at toll booths instead of going through them at a reduced speed.
