Enoshima Electric Railway, Sumitomo Mitsui Card, Visa Worldwide Japan, JCB, Nippon Signal, and QUADRAC will begin offering train rides at all Enoden stations in the spring using touch-sensitive cards and smartphones.
Touch-sensitive ticket gates will be installed at all stations, including unmanned stations, such as “Kamakura,” “Hase,” “Kamakura Koukoumae,” “Enoshima” as well as “Shonan Kaigan Koen,” “Kugenuma” and “Fujisawa. In addition to conventional means, payment by credit card, debit card, and prepaid card will be available, providing a charge-free boarding service.
