The National Museum of Nature and Science (7-20 Ueno Park, Taito-ku, Tokyo) will hold the special exhibition “Dinosaur Expo 2023” from March 14 to June 18.
The lecture will focus on the actual fossil of Zur Kullivastatl, which is said to be the most complete armored dragon in history, and will explain the evolution of dinosaurs from the perspective of “offense and defense” by explaining the evolution of spines and plates for protection (the generic name for saber dragons and armored dragons).
Actor Kento Kaku will be the audio guide navigator for this exhibition. He will provide an enjoyable tour of the exhibition with commentary from Dr. Makoto Manabe, Deputy Director of the National Museum of Nature and Science, as well as dinosaur quizzes. The audio guide can be rented at the venue (600 yen for adults and university students / 550 yen for high school students and younger) or as an app version (650 yen).
