The Metropolitan Highway Department is calling for the installation of winter tires and the carrying of chains due to the forecast of snowfall and accumulation in the Kanto Plain from the morning of February 10 until late at night.
The report also suggests the possibility of preventive road closures at Oi JCT to Kumanomachi JCT and Itabashi JCT to Kohoku JCT on the Chuo Kanjo (C2), Komatsugawa JCT (up) on the Komatsugawa Line, Harumi to Shinonome JCT (down) on the Harumi Line, Shibaura JCT to Ariake JCT (up/down) on the Daiba Line, and Oi JCT (eastbound) on the Wangan Line (see (see separate report below).
