Recently, there have been reports of suspicious persons claiming to be from JICA soliciting donations on the streets.
Donations to JICA are accepted only through the JICA donation website (see note) or by contacting JICA headquarters or domestic agencies directly.
Therefore, JICA will not ask you to donate through street donations, visit your home or business directly, or call you to ask you to transfer the donation. Please be aware that there have been some scams in the name of JICA.
