Seibu Railway to operate two Haijima Liner trains on weekday mornings during off-peak hours for commuting to work or school while seated.

Seibu Railway has determined the departure time and seat reservation fare at each boarding station for the “Haijima Liner” up train, which will begin weekday morning service on March 20.

The Haijima Liner is a pay-as-you-go reserved-seat train that operates only on the Shinjuku and Haijima Lines in the evening and night on weekdays, weekends, and holidays. In order to make this service available during morning commuting hours, two weekday morning up trains will be operated. Stops are at stations between Haijima and Kodaira (boarding only), Takadanobaba (alighting only), and Seibu Shinjuku. The designated fare is 300 yen for adults and 150 yen for children.

In addition, a boarding point campaign will be held to commemorate the start of the Haijima Liner up train service.

100 winners will receive SEIBU Smile POINTs equivalent to the designated fare of the Haijima Liner when they use their PASMO commuter pass (commuter/adult) from any station on the Haijima Line to Takadanobaba Station or Seibu Shinjuku Station. To enter the contest, simply use a PASMO commuter pass with a Smile Link registered on the application/website. The contest is available on weekdays from February 1 to 28.
