Kanagawa Prefecture subsidizes up to 5,000 yen per night in support of nationwide travel resuming January 10. Available for Yokohama, Miura, Shonan, and Hakone travel.

Kanagawa Prefecture will resume national travel support on January 10.

Kanagawa Prefecture’s name for the nationwide travel support is “Come on, Kanagawa! and the period is from January 10 to March 31 (including check-out on April 1). The subsidy will cover 20% of the cost of a trip to Kanagawa (up to 5,000 yen per night for travel products that include transportation, and up to 3,000 yen for other travel products), and electronic coupons (2,000 yen on weekdays/1,000 yen on holidays) will be given for use in purchasing souvenirs and other items.

Eligible applicants must be travelers residing in Japan and have received three doses of the novel corona vaccine or be able to present a negative certificate such as PCR test.

The website provides easy-to-understand explanations with illustrations of the procedures and precautions when applying for a National Travel Assistance plan through travel agencies and reservation sites.
