Straw Fire Bag” is a straw fuel for straw burning that can be burned by the bag itself. It is made of 100% domestic rice straw harvested in “Osaki arable land” in Miyagi Prefecture, a rice-producing region and a World Agricultural Heritage site. The straw is dried using the techniques of a tatami mat shop, which is the company’s main business, and packed in an original three-layered kraft bag, making it lightweight, waste-free, and easy for even beginners to burn.
One bag (250 x 195 x 120 mm, 100 g) burns for approximately 2 minutes, and can be used to sear all kinds of food, including fish and vegetables, with an ultra-hot flame and smoke. It can also be placed on a BBQ stove covered with charcoal and used as is. Priced from 693 yen.
