Rakuten Travel has begun accepting reservations for accommodations in the New Year’s National Travel Support (from January 10, 2023) in sequence. The target areas are as follows.

Domestic Lodging: Fukui, Shizuoka, Okayama, Kagawa, Ehime, Kochi, Okinawa
Domestic Tour: Fukui, Shizuoka, Okayama, Kagawa, Ehime, Kochi, Okinawa
The nationwide travel support program at the beginning of the year will subsidize a flat 20% of the travel price (up to 5,000 yen per night for travel products with transportation/up to 3,000 yen per night for other products) and provide electronic coupons (2,000 yen per night for weekdays/1,000 yen per night for holidays) that can be used to purchase souvenirs, etc.
In addition to the above, Rakuten Travel also offers a 5% point rebate for app reservations (online card payment only, constant entry required), a 10% off lodging coupon that can be obtained on the official website, and a 5% off coupon only on days with 5 and 0, for even greater savings.
