On December 21, Keihan Holdings announced the appointment of actress Rina Miura as the eighth generation of its “Okeihan” image character.
Okeihan’s campaign began in December 2000, with successive generations serving approximately three years (only the seventh generation has a four-year term).
The company has positioned the 8th generation as the “successor Okeian,” and says that the campaign will be a “baton pass (to succeed) to the next generation” by connecting the community and people from the stagnation of human flow and changing times after the Corona disaster.
