Mercure Hida Takayama opened on December 20, 2012, with a total of 161 rooms equipped with three types of hot springs.

Mercure, the hotel brand of the Accor group based in Paris, France, will open Mercure Hida Takayama (4-311-1 Hanasatomachi, Takayama, Gifu Prefecture) in Takayama City, Gifu Prefecture, on December 20.

Located a 4-minute walk from JR Takayama Station, the area is dotted with many natural and cultural attractions such as Hie Shrine, Naka Bridge, and old streets. It is also said to have good access to Shirakawa-go, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

A total of 161 guest rooms are available in seven types to meet your needs, including connecting rooms and barrier-free rooms. In addition, Privilege Rooms come with a “private open-air bath” (45 minutes per use) on a first-come, first-served basis. There are a total of three types of hot springs in the facility: a private open-air bath, an open-air bath, and a guest room hot spring bathhouse.

Ancillary facilities include a Mediterranean restaurant and bar, HOBAR, which offers fresh and unique regional ingredients and dishes using the finest Hida beef.
