JR West will start using the elevating platform railings at platform 4 of Sannomiya Station on December 20. At Sannomiya Station, installation of the elevating platform railings at platforms 1 and 4 has been underway.
Sannomiya Station platform No. 4 is a platform for JR Kobe Line, limited express and new rapid trains bound for Akashi and Himeji. The fence is approximately 1.3 m high with a maximum opening of 12.7 m. The fence extension is 240 m.
