The Japan Tourism Agency announced that the nationwide travel support to begin at the beginning of the year will begin on January 10, 2023. No uniform end date has been set, and each prefecture will set its own end date within its budget (the program will end gradually as soon as the budget runs out).
The discount rate will be reduced to 20% (maximum 5,000 yen per night for travel products with transportation; maximum 3,000 yen per night for other products), and the amount of coupons granted will be changed to 2,000 yen on weekdays and 1,000 yen on holidays.
