Commemorating the 100th anniversary of Shogakukan’s founding and the 111th anniversary of the Tokyo Metropolitan Transportation Authority, “Shogakukan version of Gakushu Manga: History of Japan” quiz rally.

The Tokyo Metropolitan Transportation Bureau will hold a quiz rally from December 17, 2022 to January 15, 2023, at Toei Transportation stations and other locations related to “Japanese History” to commemorate the 111th anniversary of the Bureau’s opening and the 100th anniversary of the founding of Shogakukan.

The quiz will consist of 10 questions for beginner and 10 questions for advanced level under the supervision and cooperation of “Shogakukan version of Gakushu Manga: The History of Japan”. Depending on the number of correct answers, visitors will receive original goods such as a tumbler with the original logo of “Shogakukan version of Gakushu Manga: The History of Japan” and a “Toei Kotsu Photo Book” as gifts.

The quiz points are “Ueno-okachimachi”, “Shinjuku Nishiguchi”, “Asakusa”, “Shinbashi”, “Otemachi”, “Takashimadaira”, and “Ichigaya” stations of Toei Subway, “Waseda Car Office” of Toei Bus, “Oji Ekimae stop and Asukayama stop” of Tokyo Sakura Tram (Toden Arakawa Line) (same questions are available), and Nippori Station” of the Nippori-Toneri Liner. The “Toei Marugoto Ticket,” which allows you to ride the Toei Transit as many times as you like in one day, is convenient for participating in the event.

By filling in the answers on the “Leaflet with Answer Sheet” (available at subway stations and on buses) and dropping it into the special application boxes located at the three Tourist Information Centers (Ueno Okachimachi Station, Shinjuku Nishiguchi Station, and Shimbashi Station), you will be entered into a drawing for original goods. A prize will be awarded according to the number of correct answers to the quiz.
