Tokyo National Museum opens on January 2 for the New Year. Featuring works by the Chinese zodiac sign of rabbits and the National Treasure “Pine Trees” on display.

The Tokyo National Museum will hold its 20th annual New Year’s event, “Hatsumorette at the Museum,” from January 2, 2023.

In addition to a special feature on the theme of rabbits, the Chinese zodiac sign for the New Year, and the National Treasure “Pine Trees” by Hasegawa Tohaku, as well as other auspicious works, visitors can view a New Year flower arrangement at the main gate.
