Kurobe Gorge Railway will start taking reservations for the “Kurobe Gorge Trolley Train Driving Experience” on December 1.
This project is designed to allow railroad fans to experience driving a trolley car during the winter period when the trolley cars are out of service. Visitors can experience the driving experience course (two 150-meter round trips) from Unazuki Station. Visitors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and must be at least 10 years old to apply.
The event will be held on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays from January 7 to February 5, 2023. The program will be held eight times a day from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Participation fee is 10,000 yen.
