Eizan Cableway to operate nighttime service in conjunction with the autumn foliage season. Nighttime illumination of autumn foliage is also available.

Keifuku Electric Railway will operate the Eizan Cable at night in conjunction with the autumn foliage season. On the nighttime operation days, the area around Hiei Cable Station will be illuminated with open-air lanterns and footlights to create an autumn foliage display at night.

Eizan Cable is a cable car line connecting Cable Yase Station to Cable Hiei Station. By connecting to the Eizan Ropeway adjacent to Hiei Station, visitors can access the summit of Mt. The height difference is 561 m, the highest in Japan, and visitors can enjoy the autumn leaves and cherry blossoms by the railroad tracks.

The Eizan Cableway will operate during nighttime hours from November 3 to 6, 11 to 27, and December 2 to 4, with the lights on from sunset to 8:00 p.m. The last service is at 6:15 p.m. on non-nighttime days.
