S.RIDE, a cab app, has begun offering a priority dispatch function as a new feature of its monthly subscription service, S.RIDE Premium.
The priority cab dispatch function searches for cabs in the app for 10 minutes until there is an available cab in the vicinity, instead of the usual two-minute search for available cabs. This has resulted in a 96% success rate for taxi dispatch in times of tight demand, such as heavy rain or inclement weather.
