Gotemba City, Shizuoka Prefecture, will hold the “Gotemba Hot Springs and Sauna Heaven Tour,” a digital stamp rally campaign that will take visitors around the city’s hot springs and sauna facilities. The campaign will run from November 1, 2022 to January 31, 2023.
Gotemba City, located at the foot of Mt. Fuji, is blessed with natural hot springs and high-quality underground water, and there are many hot spring hotels and day-trip bathing facilities scattered throughout the city. Following the first campaign held in April in cooperation with all eight facilities, this second campaign incorporates elements of a digital stamp rally and is planned to allow visitors to enjoy saunas and water baths in Gotemba’s hot springs.
In addition, “Sa-meshi” (rice served after a sauna treatment) offered at each participating facility is also eligible for the stamp, allowing visitors to enjoy local delicacies at the same time.
