The Tokyo Metropolitan Government will open an 805-meter section of Tokyo Urban Planning Road Trunk Route No. 5-1 from Sendagaya 5-chome, Shibuya-ku to Naitomachi, Shinjuku-ku to traffic at 14:00 on December 3.
The new road will strengthen the network connecting the two subcenters of Shibuya and Shinjuku and improve the roadside environment by easing traffic congestion around Shinjuku Station.
The company will continue to install elevators for pedestrian crossing bridges.
