MAP” (Android/iOS version), a map application provided by Yahoo! MAP, has launched “National Map of Autumn Foliage 2022″ to coincide with the autumn foliage season.
This function allows users to see at a glance the status of autumn foliage (green leaves/beginning of fall foliage/beginning of fall foliage/beginning of fading/defoliation) on a map of approximately 740 locations throughout Japan and the best time to view them, with five types of pins. It also supports route search, so you can check the route and time required to get to the spot in question.
Search” (e.g., “autumn foliage in Kyoto”), information on nearby autumn foliage spots and the best time to view them will be displayed on the search results page.
