JORDAN has announced that it has improved the ride location guidance in its “Norikae Guidance” application for smartphones. It is offered as a paid Plus mode feature.
The app has been providing train boarding location information to facilitate smooth transfers, but when multiple trains are operating on the same line, the information is expressed as “forward” or “backward”.
With this improvement, the system is now able to guide passengers to the appropriate train car by utilizing information from the “Station Database” provided by Navid. The detailed boarding location screen also shows the location of stairs, escalators, elevators, etc. on the platform at the arrival station.
