The Metropolitan Police Department will enforce traffic restrictions on the Metropolitan Expressway and public roads in central Tokyo in conjunction with the state funeral of former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and other events.

In conjunction with the national funeral ceremony at the Nippon Budokan and the subsequent events at the State Guest House, traffic restrictions will be enforced from around 12:00 to 21:00 on the Metropolitan Expressway in Tokyo to stop vehicular traffic. Necessary traffic restrictions will also be enforced on ordinary roads.
