Ryohin Keikaku, which operates MUJI, will open one of the largest street-level stores in the Kanto region, MUJI Itabashi Minami-cho 22, in Itabashi Ward, Tokyo, on November 17. The sales floor area is one of the largest in the Kanto region, approximately 1,200 tsubo.
The company will promote the creation of stores that are linked to the “Picture Book Town Itabashi” initiative promoted by Itabashi Ward and support sales of “Itabashi Ippin” selected by ward residents to promote economic revitalization of the neighborhood and solve local problems.
